BRANDING & LOGO REVAMP
Objective: To update the existing iconography with a new logo lockup and create a clear and standardized set of branding elements to establish a cohesive look and feel across the entire Butcher & Pantry brand.
BRANDING & LOGO DESIGN
Objective: To create a warm and modern logo for a yarn shop in downtown Norwich, Vermont. The client had bought an existing yarn business that needed a face lift.
Result: We developed a new name and brand to appeal to the 21st century knitter. This is not your grandmother’s yarn shop! The rounded nature of the font give the logo a fun and youthful feel and the yarn ball icon is simple and modern. The circular lockup works well across all the knitting swag - from custom stitch markers, to project bags and car magnets!
BRANDING + LOGO REDESIGN
Objective: To create a new logo for the Ford Sayre Ski Council keeping in mind the 3 ski disciplines (Nordic, Alpine, and Jumping), the ideas of participation as well as racing; sense of place; and a homegrown inclusivity. Creating a unifying look across all 3 disciplines was paramount.
Result: The new logo for Ford Sayre Ski Club was inspired by both the history and the incredible sense of community that the club promotes. The use of a shield emblem and slab serif font provides a modern twist on an old skiing vibe and celebrates the heritage of a club founded in 1936. The retro ski iconography exemplifies these early roots where each ski discipline had its start. Highlighting the rolling mountains, pines and river of the Upper Valley was important in giving Ford Sayre a mark unique to the club and their mission to promote community and participation.
Objective: Develop a logo and brand for a new incubator to nurture working moms. Woom (working + mom) aspires to provide credible insights, actionable solutions, and heartfelt inspirations for working mothers, their families, their employers, and the people who care about them.
Result: The woom brand needed to thread the line between “Professional & Trusted” and “Nurturing & Warm”. To do this we created custom type that was clean and modern, but still playful and soft. The overlapping iconographic element represents the many facets of the working mother - all the hats they wear everyday - but also the community of women and their supporters that woom provides.
The first woom project is a book series for working mothers and their littles, Mommy goes to Work.
